Hyundai Elevator’s marine elevators account for the largest share in the world market. The elevators boast outstanding functions, including high durability suitable for the marine environment, green technology for efficient use of energy, such as gearless synchronous traction machines and regenerative inverters, and soundproofing and dustproofing features. They are equipped with many other specialized features such as the safety switch to detect excessive ship motions (rolling, pitching) and the traveling cable guiding system to prevent elevator cables from twisting when the ship tilts.

Hyundai Elevator is the first Asian company to supply marine elevators to luxury liners AIDAprima and AIDAperla.
They are the largest cruise ships of AIDA Cruise (125,000 tons, 4200 passengers). A total of 33 units per vessel were installed, including passenger and freight elevators. We have offered a differentiated satisfaction to AIDA Cruise with aesthetic features customized for the luxury liners, such as elegant LED lights, aluminum panels with diverse patterns, glass doors, and leather handrails.
